Well I've finally done it ....

Hmm - It seems I registered on LJ last year - I have no memory of it at all but if you know me you wont be surprised at that ;) ...

Well, back from Redemption and a great weekend - if a little sleep deprived and hung over. I have no idea what i'm going to put in here or even if i'll even remember I've got one but so many people seem to have these little blogs I thought i'd give it a go. I'll just have to try not to put my foot in my mouth and say something I'll regret. Of course I have a habit of doing exactly that. I have a feeling I upset someone's Christian sensibilities last night which I didn't mean to do - he just pushed the wrong buttons at the wrong time.

Well the big risk is almost over - stepping away from real life and gainfull employment to do the degree I dropped out of 18 years ago. 4 years on and just 4 weeks, a project and 4 exams to go and back to work ... Unfortunately the mundane world unless something unexpected happens - IT again (remind me why i did the degree ??) - I may even have a job starting in April - should find out tomorrow.

Realised last night talking to Dave (lonemagpie ) its 6 years since my last E3 and my last paid article. Thats probably another door closed.

The plus side is that this weekend restored both my faith in fandom and my own ability to enjoy myself - I'm now really looking forward to Eastercon.

Today I need sleep - Had around 9 hours sleep since friday but i'm making myself stay awake until a real bedtime to stop my sleep pattern getting even more screwed.
