Heroes ...

Just downloaded and watched the first two episodes of Heroes ...
I like it. I like it a lot. It's doomed.
OK - No spoilers - but the plot owes a lot to Unbreakable, Deadzone and Rising Stars in pretty equal measures.
The problem is the show is going to be Arc based or rather already is - very much so. I can see why the producers are seriously trying to plug it to the Lost fans they are gonna need them.
Arc shows tend to die a death in the US - Lost is the big exception. There's a mix of at least 5 distinct plot strands which are going to tie togeather (assuming the show survives that long) - we are shown one possible end before the end of the second episode. I saw it coming - but only just, it was one of the less predictable twists.
I'd like to see this go the distance, AlthoughI was getting lots of twinges of dejavu during the two episodes, its quite possible the writer was playing for just that effect. It certainly didn't detract from my enjoyment...
