Yep - No spoilers but I have just watched episode 17 of Heroes.

Quite simply this episode embodied everything I have come to love about the show - It was simply a tour de force and just .... well ... worked ...

Well written, well thought out and some wonderful stuff - and I just loved the Alan Moore Watchman/Killing Joke style single frame juxtapositions between current and past story line ... It just underlined the series roots and love of the comic book genre. Its also the shows first single thread episode and completely ignored the previous episodes cliffhanger - something else I really liked ...

DO I go on about this show too much ? Probably and it probably isn't everyones cup of tea - but for me its the show i've enjoyed most since - well probably since B5 season 2 ...

B&B7 ...

Someone somewhere asked where we announce the B&B7 and Aylesbury Sci Fi pub meets so I'm cross posting this with my flist and the Redemption com...

Basically they are both meet up groups. Free to join and free meets. (I know some people disbanded their meet up groups when they started charging - But the fee is so nominal (I pay around 4.97 a month total) I feel i can wear it for the ease of use of the service).

As well as the pub meets we also run awaydays (the pics are from a Dalek day at longleat) as well as Movie/TV marathons at the house. I have to say the groups tend to have a strong Media bias but most people are heavy readers too.

Average turn outs : Between 15 & 25 for B&B7 and 12-14 for Aylesbury but both groups have more members and are growing- I'm trying to get people to use the RSVP but hey ho ...

The groups are :
