Well we are ..

This is a quick update as we are both still poorly ...

What seemed like a bug has persistied, well in my case anyway, for three weeks with odd bouts of feeling slightly better intertwined ...

Also we had to spend last night at my mums as she has also devolped a servre chest infection too - which on top of the motor neurone is 'Not a good thing' TM. As ever the Macmillian Nurses have stepped up to the plate and arranged us an overnight carer with zero notice on new years eve (with our bugs it really isnt safe for us to be with her). If you ever want to donate to a charity heres a good one.

Also when we went to get in the car last night we found that the rear window was smashed and the radio cassette was gone. So this afternoon was spent sorting this (though dealing with vauxhall insurance was quite painless). Still at least a minor plus point that given the massive drop in car audio price since I brought my cassette (yes cassette) radio in 2000 and the fact the valuers gave me the list price of the unit when I brought it (almost 400 quid) means I now have a rather nice new shini Alpine iPod header unit in my car (one of these for teh more interested - http://www.alpine-europe.com/alpinefullspeed/
