God some people just have to whinge

Some people get up my nose - They just can't stand something good happening to other people ..

I'm talking about the response on various gaming sites to Sony giving the 150 or so people who queued up for the PS3 launch at the megastore 46' Bravia Plasma's (those are GOOD tv by the way - not crappy ones)

You'd think Sony had personally gone round to them and slapped them in the face with a kipper.

Basically most of these guys have preordered and couldn't be bothered to go to the launch event (to be honest I was suprised how few went).

I couldn't be bothered either. So I didn't get a new TV. Do i begrudge those that did ? No.

So its a shameless marketing stunt by Sony - gee whizz. It probably cost them less than one ad on primetime tv and has got way more news coverage.

Some say they would have gone if they had known - DUHHH. Thats why sony didnt tell anyone ...

So Sony got some cheap publicity - They made a hundred odd people very happy in the process.

I never thought I'd say this - but well done Sony ...

I just wish my contact at Sony had let me know :)
