That Planet ...

As reported here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/6589157.stm

Is it class M as many people are yelling ?

Its star is much colder than Sol and its 14 times nearer to it. Its year is 13 days.

Its also 1.5 times the size of earth. They think the temperatures are right - but have no idea about gravity or atmosphere ...

Oh well - something else to wonder about that will never have an answer in my lifetime I suspect.

I'm not even sure I can see it's star with my Meade 12" but i may give it a go once the things aligned ...

Does anyone have a definition of a class M planet ?

According to Wikipedia, "class M" only exists in Star Trek. So I suspect the real requirement is that it's got a camera crew already on it, to film the crew transporting down.
