It was the first C4 funded movie I think too and was werird for being one of th efirst movies in the uk shown on TV before going to a (not that sucessful) cinema run ..

Its still a film I have a huge soft spot for - but i guess you would have to be in the right age bracket ...

This is probably because you have no one under four feet tall in your home. ;-)

Charlie and Lola are aged 7 and 4 respectively and live in a world with no visible grown-ups and a lot of fantasy (Lola refuses to brush her teeth because there's a lion in the bathroom using her toothbrush; she can't have a bath because of the whales in the water). They're very cute indeed and have a theme tune that makes narenek dance and bounce about. :)
