I don't think we have been told that its in Alex's head. We have been told that Alex believes it's in her head - which is not the same. I like that they are bringing back the ambiguity of the reality which was there in S1 of LOM.
The Clown ? I think the clown is simply the clown from Bowies 'Ashes to Ashes' video and is there to creep people out much like the test card girl was in S1 (and I really think it would have been a clever bit of casting to have used the test card girl to play Alex's duaghter - but that may just be me...
Actually, I wondered if the test card girl was playing Molly, so you're not alone there.
Thinking to the second episode, why would Alex have been in school for the royal wedding? I remember being on holiday and watched it at my cousins as I was staying with Gran at the time.
We weren't on Holiday - we were given one day off for it. I remember cycling over to my friends house and deliberatly not watching it to annoy both or sets of Parents - we spent the day playing Moneytable on a commadore CBM (which oddly enough is the compiuter on Gene's desk)
Either holidays started later, or your authority had different term dates from mine. The wedding was the 29th July, which should be just at the beginning of the summer holiday.
