Just watched the new Knight Rider pilot.
Wasn't as bad as I was afraid It would be in fact.
It's a direct sequel, set 25 years on. The new car (The Knight Industries Three Thousand - so still KITT) is quite cool - not the trans am (which apppears to be in bits in the garage where the new one is kept at the begining of the episode) but still cool.
The story is very Knight Rider, in fact the show is almost too retro for its own good but still watchable (certainly I prefered it to the dreadful team knight rider stuff)..
The Hoff is in the opening Credits - and does indeed turn up as pinched and wrinkled as ever.
Oh and those worrying about the 'Transformers' comments - so far its only a changing paint job ala 'Viper' so thats not so bad.
Why they reveal the female FBI agent is gay in the first two mins then forget about it seemed a bit odd ...
Dno't want to give away any real story points so I'll say no more - worse ways to spen an hour and a half I guess

I think it could grow, although I think they could have done something more original than yet another Scooby Gang show. (Loved the car though!)
