Vue cinema's are introducing over 18 only showings of movies with lower certificates (ie 12A's etc.)

All I can say is its about time... They cost an extra quid, but one of the reasons I stopped going to the flix is kids. They are everywhere with the attention span of gnats ...

I know it doesn't apply to all of them but it only takes one to ruin the movie and generally it's more. I wouldn't want to stop kids going to movies - but I do like having the option not to go with them.

Yay - More of this type of thing please ...

In my experience it's not always kids who make lots of noise in the cinema. I suppose the extra charge might also discourage some of the adults who don't care about watching in silence.
