Watchmen
So ... It seems the success of Sin City and 300 has convinced Warners that there is room for R rated comic book adaptions.
Snyder is to direct hot on the heals of 300, although it sounds like he is still having trouble explaining to WB that Watchmen is not Fantastic Four - oh well ... I'm suprised they got the rights off Gilliam
It'll either be really crap or really good all we can do is hope...

Date: 2007-03-26 08:12 am (UTC)I've always felt that comics makie better TV series anyway. Watchmen certainly would. Especially if they took advantage of the change in medium. Not quite sure how They'd deal with the Tales of the Black Freighter, but I'll bet this doesn't even come up in the film.
