Well... the way to beat Heathrow security queues is to get there at 4.45 am. Arrival at airport to sitting in the departure lounge in 25 mins ... Shame the executive lounge doesn't open till 6.30 - as we have to be at the gate for 7 seems a bit pointless...

Well - off to San Diego Comic Con with gaspodia , nickeyb and killalla. The start of 10 days of wandering (next vegas and Star Trek experience vow renewal (joined there by emmzzi and vindolandia grand canyon and beer then San Francisco for the last few days...

Right ... that'll do for now.

Don't forget heroes tonight at 9 pm on BBC2 and Bbc hd - in proper widescreen ...

I have to say the Heroes pilot was a hell of a lot better watched with hindsight, when I knew who these people were and what they were talking about. (I was coaxed into watching probably the last two-thirds of the season on SciFi; still wouldn't count myself a fan, but it passed the time agreeably enough once the threads started to weave properly.)
