When the iPod touch came it was basically the same software as the iPhone with out the phone.

Oh and the email client. Apple said we are having tech issues but will add the Email client soon - Buy it anyway for Xmas ...

Its Jan 18th ..

They have added the email client and made it available for download.

For $20 - thats basically another 10% on the pice

I mean ??? WTF ... If MS did this it would be all over the press...

*EDIT* It gets better - in the UK it's £12.99 - so over $26 .....

You're out of date on your currency exchange rates ... it looks like we're back under the $2/£1 according to xe.com

And you do get Notes, Stocks, Weather and Maps as well for that price ...

... still if you bought your iTouch expecting to get the email client for free, then it's time to threaten them with legal action and see if they will give you a free copy just to shut you up!

I was told by the guy in the regent street shop that the email client was coming - they never mentioned paying extra ... As for the rest - They know full well that people want the email..
