A bit late but ...

I'm finally doing a Primevel marathon from the S1 DVD i've had for months.

Started this post in Ep 4 - i'll update as I go ...

Ep 1 - Ok .. bit hokey but ok..
Ep 2 - Bugs in the underground. - Enjoyed this one
Ep 3 - Showing some promise - plot holes but very intriging ..

Episode 4 - Dodo's ... Oh dear lol

**Edit - End of epsisode - Full marks for not going for the happy ending. Made the episode much better.

Episode 5 - Completely pointless hokum - whole episode to set up a relationship between Claudia and Nick and that Helen may not be so evil (shock horror). Could have been done in 5 mins - Obvious filler episode befofre finale.

Ep 6 .. I love a good temporal paradox .. so pushing aside the Pred/Alien stuff a good episode and nice cliff hanger. Good thing I have the next couple of Episodes on Sky Plus - but here ends my thoughts on S1...

I found the only way to get through some of the latter episodes was to fast forward through all the pointless running around and CGI effects and just watch the bits with story in. You can get through an entire epiosde in 5 minutes that way.

Yeah, well, I couldn't bring myself to watch it all.

They had been sitting on my sky box for weeks if not months and I got bored watching them, so in the end I decided just to watch the bits I was interested in.

I'm managing much better with the second series.

That bodes well. It's a completionist thing. I can't only watch bits. Its why I've watched some terrible shows.

To be honest it isn't that bad - tho reet is dispairing at me and watching with one eye while doing Orbital stuff.

The end episode does tie neatly into the first episode and should get you thinking a bit. Plus you get lots of nice views of Wipsnade Zoo.
