Radio Plays ..

OK - I'm trying to get hold of two radio plays from the early 80's.

One is John Wyndhams Crysalids (a play for the day I think) and the other is a series - six episodes called 'Outbreak Of Fear'.

Does anyone have them ? Preferably digital ? Or are they available to buy from the BBC or anywhere ?

Play.com has got The Chrysalids along with another Wyndham at £7.49. Can't find the other one, though I presume it's the thriller by R. D. Wingfield, also from 1982.

It is the R D Wingfield thing .. And i've just found out it was repeated on BBC last October ..

Now to find someone with it ...

I remember The Crysalids on Radio 4 in the early eighties. It was an excellent play. It was a Saturday Night Theatre and part of an occasional series of science fiction plays in that slot. I still may have an old cassette of it somewhere...

I don't remember Outbreak of Fear - and I was a big listener to radio drama back in those days.
