A little slow to start but hooked me by episode 2 ...

Its to Angel what Deadwood is to Bonanza ...

SO .. As long as you don't mind nudity, sex and bad language ala Deadwood it's worth a watch ..

On the other hand if Deadwood or Six Feet Under upset you - best avoid ...

Its a matter of taste - 'Six Feet Under' and 'Deadwood' are both excellent (particularly by current standards) peices of drama - but they are pretty blunt. In fact the later episodes of TB are not as extreme as the first episode but still might be a bit much.

I know a number of people who loathed SFU and DW and at least as many who loved them.

But yes - if you dont want the sex, drugs, blood and violence then this may not be for you ...
