I've had a few Texts and Emails ...

We are fine - we are a long way north of Mumbai and somewhat East of Dehli so we are unaffected ...

The only worry is what effect this is going to have on our flight on Sunday (thats from Dehli).

I was going to say "relieved to hear you're okay", but actually as I knew you were staying with family in a non-central area, I wasn't concerned. Nice to have the confirmation, though.

Fingers crossed the flight home is uninterrupted - or, should I say, the flight to Disney-whatsit...?

Well - we have around 5 hours at the moment to get from Heathrow to Gatwick .. That could all go horibly wrong if we get delayed ...

can't help thinking it's better to be stuck at Gatwick than Tailand right now - at least you can book into the yotel for a few hours...

It was the getting stuck at dehli that I was/am worried about .. It's pretty basic and they are building a whole new airport next door, theres virtully no food or drink and of course you cant take drink in ...

Well we will see what we will see Sunday night ... Yerk ...

you will be fine. can you get away with taking watery food like oranges in case of emergency do you think?? Would need to be chucked before UK customs but that shouldn't be a prob?

or you will just have to get a big case of emergency wine at the duty free?

I'm glad you're ok. It might be worth contacting the second leg of the trip airline and explaining the situation. They might not be able to do anything but at least they might be sympathetic when you get there.

Good, I was trying to remember where you were, though I was pretty sure you'd never mentioned Mumbai. Hope the journey goes as smoothly as it can.

I did think of you, but figured you wouldn't be near the trouble.

Hope your travel plans work out OK. Keep safe.

I had remembered R saying that you were out in the boonies somewhere, but it's very good to hear that you guys are actually ok!

Please keep yourselves that way and come home safely!

*hugs*
